Headache
Headache
is defined as pain in the head or upper neck. Headache is one
of the most common medical complaints. Headaches can be quite
debilitating, although the vast majority are not due to life
threatening disorders.
Symptoms

Headaches
include pressure or tightness around both sides of the head or
neck.

The pain
is always on one side. It remains on the same side of the
head.

Frontal
headache

Fever

Eye pain

Noise

Causes

Tooth
ache may cause head ache

Diagnosis
·
A test
called an electroencephalogram (EEG) may be given to measure
brain activity. EEGs can indicate a malfunction in the brain.

CT Scan
Can be done for a patient with unusual headaches.
Remedies
·
The juice of
three or four slices of lemon must be squeezed in a cup of tea
it relieves head ache immediately.

Apples are
precious in curing all types of headaches. It must be taken
with a little salt every morning on an empty stomach. This
should be repeated for about a week.
·
The flowers
of henna have been found important in curing headaches. The
flowers must be applied over the forehead.
·
A fine paste
of cinnamon should be prepared by mixing it with water and it
should be applied over forehead.
