Diabetes is a metabolic disorder that prevents the body from
utilizing glucose completely or partially. There are basically
two types of diabetes
1. Type 1 (insulin-dependent diabetes)

Diagnosis
·
A fasting
plasma glucose (FPG) test measures blood glucose in a person
who has not eaten anything for at least 8 hours. This test is
used to detect diabetes and pre-diabetes.
·
An oral
glucose tolerance test (OGTT) measures blood glucose after a
person fasts at least 8 hours and 2 hours after the person
drinks a glucose-containing beverage. This test can be used to
diagnose diabetes and pre-diabetes.
·
A random
plasma glucose test, also called a casual plasma glucose test,
measures blood glucose without regard to when the person being
tested last ate. This test, along with an assessment of
symptoms, is used to diagnose diabetes but not pre-diabetes.
Remedies
·
Soak
fenugreek seeds in water. leave overnight. Chew this seeds in
the morning.

Boil 15
fresh Mango leaves in 1 glass of water. Leave overnight.
Filter this water and drink first thing in the morning. It is
an effective Medicine for diabetes.

Drink a
juice of a Bitter Gourd every morning. It is one of the best
home remedies for diabetes.
·
Add 3-table
spoon of cinnamon to 1 litre of boiling water. Simmer for 20
minutes in a low flame, and then strain the water

Take equal
quantities of turmeric powder and dried gooseberry powder with
honey in an empty stomach.
·
Eat garlic
regularly in empty stomach it reduces sugar level
